I didn't make any posts to other people's statements because they weren't in my personal spotlight. I've been going back and forth with Wes about the UD pulley thing and since he also mentioned about the EGR system, I though I'd comment on that too, and I was only making a statement about the fact that no one here can give any hard evidence that supports safe removal of either the stock pulley or EGR so it would probably be wise to leave well enough alone on those two items. I go further with my statement than just singling him out too, I am making a suggestion to other Z owners who are comtemplating UD or EGR removal. "So, in other words we should all be sheep and just accept what's handed to us without questioning it, trying to make it better, etc etc etc.... " You said that, not me. If you want to act like sheep, I wont stop you, but I never suggested that people act like them. I was only being supportive of a "look before you cross" kind of approach to these issues. AKA: Be safe, not sorry. As for the valves, I did state: "I dont think so" in the message header. Meaning, I'm not sure, but my best guess would be that you couldn't. I didn't specifically state that YOU CANNOT DO IT, merely, that I dont think you can based on my observation of the cylinder head. My "guess" turned out to be false, but I made no claims of certainty. Once I saw your post, I'm sure you know, I deleted it so as not to confuse the issue. Obviously you have gone with larger valves. How's that's working by the way? You kinda skipped over that part of issue. Is it something worth the money to do? How has it affected performance? I dont drink Vodka, not do I take robitussin, do you? LOL jk : There were several ppl that agreed with removing the EGR : system and you didn't make a "personal" post to them.... : Also, you state : "trust the engineers who are leaps and bounds above not : only us, but every member in this forum. Jim Wolf included." : So, in other words we should all be sheep and just accept : what's handed to us without questioning it, trying to make it : better, etc etc etc.... I say BS to that. If that's how you : really feel you need to take that TT motor back out of you : car and return it to stock. I'm sure everyone here : understands and accepts that there are risks involved when : modifying a car, and if they don't they need to be driving : a mini-van and not a sports car. : I have a suggestion for you, why don't you lay off the Vodka : and Robutussin before you start giving out wrong information. : For example, you answer to oversized valves a few threads up...
